David Hacker

David Hacker is a Director within the Private Credit team at Merricks Capital, responsible for deal execution and investment management as well as credit risk mitigation projects. They have extensive experience in corporate turnaround, restructuring, and transactions, advising high-profile private and ASX-listed companies across various sectors. Prior to joining Merricks Capital, David worked at KPMG, where they held multiple roles, including Executive and Associate Director. David began their career as a Junior Accountant at Bluebird Accounting and has also served as a Committee Member and Co-Chair for the NextGen Committee at TMA Australia. They hold a Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) and a Bachelor of Accounting from La Trobe University, and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
