Eik Hunter

Eik Hunter has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. They have held various roles in different companies since 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Eik worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Hunter Web Development.

In 2016, they founded their own company, Blue Bulldog, where they served as the Founder and Front-End Developer. Here, they designed and developed websites and mobile applications, focusing on user authentication. They worked at Blue Bulldog until 2018.

Also in 2016, Eik worked as a Junior Developer for eSchools, a company that developed websites and software for creating online communities for parents and teachers. They were responsible for web development and design and worked at eSchools until 2017.

From 2017 to 2018, Eik worked as a Front-End Developer at Onespacemedia Ltd. Here, they contributed to the development of various projects and websites for clients in the medical and technology sectors, focusing on web environments and user experience.

In 2018, Eik joined Fly My Cloud Limited as a UI & UX Consultant. They managed and understood the client and user processes and developed user-interfacing features using frameworks like Reactjs. They also created design templates using prototyping tools.

From 2018 to 2019, Eik worked as a Front-End Engineer at Beautystack, where they developed a beauty-centric mobile application using React Native, Reactjs, and Typescript. They also created design templates and applied them in a production-ready environment.

From 2019 to 2020, Eik worked as a Senior Front-End Engineer at Dwell UK. They collaborated with the existing web team to deliver a new front-end system for an e-commerce platform using React. They also worked with designers to create a user-friendly web application.

In 2020, Eik joined Holland & Barrett as a Senior Software Engineer. They served as the Principal UI & UX developer and were responsible for designing and building an entirely new app using React Native. They completed the design in figma, including both technical and visual design aspects.

Currently, Eik is employed at Datasite starting from 2022. They are serving as a Senior Software Engineer and have been promoted to the role of Technical Lead starting from 2023. The specific responsibilities and duration of this role are not provided.

Eik Hunter attended Long Road Sixth Form from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued A Levels in Art, Design Technology, and Mathematics. After a gap year, in 2016 and 2017, they studied various courses in Computer Science at freeCodeCamp. Prior to their time at Long Road Sixth Form, from 2010 to 2012, Eik attended Mougins International School, where they earned their IGCSE degree with a focus on various subjects.
