Matt Summers

Matt Summers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matt is currently serving as the VP of Product Management at Datasite, a leading SaaS provider for the M&A industry. Prior to this role, they held positions at Datasite as the Sr Director of Product Management - EMEA and Director of Product Management - EMEA.

Before joining Datasite, Matt worked as the CTO at Eyeread Inc. in 2016. Matt also gained extensive experience at Pearson plc, where they held roles as a Senior Software Product Manager - Data & Analytics and Software Product Manager - Platform Services.

Earlier in their career, Matt served as the Product & Operations Director at WYGU from 2009 to 2012. Matt also co-founded and worked as the Director of Business & Product Development at M:Link Software, where they successfully developed and marketed an enterprise-level Electronic Document & Records Management System.

Prior to their roles in the software industry, Matt worked as a Financial Data Analyst at Nationwide Building Society in 2005. Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated expertise in product management, operations, and data analysis.

Matt Summers attended Swansea University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree (BEng) in Materials Science & Engineering. Matt later pursued further education at Swansea University from 2002 to 2004 and earned a Master's degree (MSc) in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained the "How To Create Products Customers Love" certification from the Silicon Valley Product Group in July 2017. In June 2014, they acquired the "Acclaim Early Adopter" certification from Pearson VUE. Prior to their formal education, Matt also obtained the "CASI Level 1 Instructor" certification from the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors in April 2000.
