Robert Torio has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert is currently working at Datasite as a Senior Marketing Manager, APAC, where they oversee content marketing in the APAC region and executes marketing strategies in Australia & New Zealand, India, and Southeast Asia. Prior to this, they held the position of Content Marketing Manager, APAC at Datasite.
Before joining Datasite, Robert worked at Project Nathaniel as a Creator, Communicator, and Marketer, and at Peak Pacific Group as a Manager of Client Engagement & Business Development and Senior Marketing Manager. Robert also served as the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, Senior Marketing Manager, and Marketing Manager at NetDimensions.
Earlier in their career, Robert worked at Global Sources in various positions including Assistant Marketing Manager, Events; Assistant Communications Manager, Electronics Business Unit; Senior Marketing Executive; and Events Marketing Executive. Robert also held roles as Senior Copy Editor and Copy Editor at Asian Sources Electronic Components.
Prior to their roles in the tech industry, Robert started their career as a Failure Analysis Engineer (On-the-Job Trainee) at Amkor Technology, and later worked as a Communications Specialist at SKYCOM Philippines Inc.
Throughout their career, Robert has gained valuable experience in content marketing, client engagement, business development, corporate communications, and event management.
Robert Torio began their education in 1981 at Marist School, where they completed their primary education from 1981 to 1987. Robert then continued their studies at the same school and completed their secondary education from 1987 to 1991. After graduating from Marist School, Robert enrolled at the University of the Philippines in 1991 to pursue an undergraduate degree in Mathematics. Robert studied Mathematics until 1993 when they changed their major to Metallurgical Engineering. Robert completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the University of the Philippines in 2001.
