Tom Marlin

Tom Marlin has extensive work experience in software engineering and architecture. Tom is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Datasite since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Principal Engineer at Spok from October 2021 to April 2022, and Principal Software Engineer at Spok from May 2019 to November 2021.

Tom also worked at Ambient Consulting as a Software Architect/Principal Engineer from March 2015 to May 2019, where they created solutions for spin-off startup companies and served as the technical lead of an internal incubator group.

Before that, they worked as a Software Architect at Filmstrip, Inc. from March 2014 to March 2015, where they developed a photo-based messaging app for Android and iOS devices.

Tom Marlin also worked at BSQUARE as a Principal Software Engineer from January 2011 to March 2014, where they designed and developed various aspects of TestQuest 10, the company's Enterprise Test Automation software, and enhanced their Android automation component.

Tom'searlier experience includes working as a Sr. Engineer at Xiotech Corp from January 2006 to March 2011, where they led a team and successfully released a SAN management GUI, and developed host management software. Tom started their career at SafeNet, Inc. as a Test Engineer from June 2004 to January 2006, where they created and executed test suites and provided support to Sales Engineers.

Tom Marlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. Tom attended the university from 2000 to 2004.
