Anouk Schans

Anouk Schans is a research technician specializing in antibody discovery at Merus N.V. since September 2022, utilizing various techniques such as cloning, PCR, sequencing, and flow cytometry. Prior to this role, Anouk gained experience as a research intern at MICREOS, where antimicrobial activity of engineered peptidoglycan hydrolases was assessed, and as a student assistant at Wageningen University & Research, providing feedback on assignments in the "Enzymology" course. Earlier positions include a laboratory assistant role at MICREOS and tutoring in mathematics, biology, and chemistry for Bijlesnetwerk. Academic credentials consist of a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research, along with a minor in Biomedicine from the University of Eastern Finland.
