Benjamin Apel

Benjamin Apel is the Founder and CEO of Mesa, a role held since July 2021. Previously, Benjamin co-founded Final, Inc. in July 2014, which was acquired by Goldman Sachs, and developed a credit card solution that provided consumers with enhanced control over their spending. At Honey, where Benjamin worked from October 2018 to October 2019, efforts focused on managing engineering teams to create a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) product and an innovative underwriting system for a user base of 150 million, prior to Honey's acquisition by PayPal. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Willamette University.
