Johnathon Vought

Johnathon Vought is an experienced professional in the fields of 3D gaming and visual effects, serving as the Owner of MESHBOSS since March 2007, with prior experience as a sole proprietor since 2002. Vought has held significant roles, including Head of 3D Pipeline at Curie from October 2021 to May 2024, and has an extensive teaching background as an adjunct instructor at various institutions, such as Austin Community College and the University of Texas at Austin, where Johnathon taught a wide range of 3D and game design courses. Vought's early career includes roles at Acclaim Studios Austin as an artist and cinematic artist, contributing to titles like Turok 3 and All-Star Baseball 2002, as well as positions at Bauhaus Media Group as a compositor and 3D artist. Vought holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of North Texas and an AA in Art from Odessa Community College.
