Swapnil Bora

Swapnil Bora has a long and varied work experience. In 2005, they began as an Intern at AMERICAN AXLE AND MANUFACTURING (AAM). In 2006, they moved to Honeywell as a Design Engineer, where they executed four Product Development Cycles in Embedded Systems for US and UK based clients and accomplished European Confirmation (CE Certification) for one of the products. In 2008, they became an Executive at SIEMENS, where they executed Test-Facilities development worth INR 6 Millions (approx.) for the Automation and Drives, Siemens. In 2009, they took on the role of Co-Investigator at the Leadership Center. In 2010, they worked as a Technology Commercialization Intern at UT Dallas Office of Technology Commercialization, and as an Associate at mSolve Partners. In 2011, they became a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Finally, in 2012, they founded and became the CEO of MeshTek Labs aka ilumi solutions, which creates and builds smart lighting, and a variety of other systems that operate on a proprietary Bluetooth mesh networking platform with built-in Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing solutions for direct customers and OEMs.

Swapnil Bora completed their MBA from Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas in 2011, majoring in Operations & Strategy and Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication from Pune Institute of Computer Technology in 2006.
