Michael Hellen

Michael Hellen is an experienced consultant with a strong background in economics and policy analysis. Currently serving as a Consultant at Mesirow since December 2021, Michael previously held the title of Associate Consultant. At DePaul University from June 2020 to November 2022, Michael worked as a Graduate Assistant and contributed as a Student Representative on the Driehaus College of Business Grade Challenge Review Board, along with experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Prior internships include a Member Services Intern at OCC, where Michael produced reports analyzing firm data, a Management Consulting Intern at Aepos Group, LLC focusing on client consulting services using the Scrum Methodology, and a Merchandiser at Belk, optimizing retail floor layouts. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Economics and Policy Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and History of Art and Architecture, both obtained from DePaul University.
