Clare Armstrong has been in the research and development field since 2006. Clare started as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph in 2006, then moved on to become a Teaching Assistant/Private Tutor and Research Assistant at McMaster University in 2007. Clare studied the effects of cholesterol on cell membranes and published nine first author publications. Clare also presented their research at 12 local, national, and international conferences. In 2014, they became a Freelance Technical Editor at Stallard Scientific Editing. In 2016, they took on the role of Manager of Technology Research and Development at ElectroKinetic Solutions Inc. Clare is currently the Head of Research and Development at MesoMat since 2018.
Clare Armstrong received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics (Honors) from the University of Guelph between 2002 and 2006. Clare then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from McMaster University between 2007 and 2009. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics/Biophysics at McMaster University between 2009 and 2013.
