Michael Stringer

Michael Stringer currently serves as the Director of Fine Arts at Mesquite Independent School District, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Michael was the Director of Performing Arts at Irving Independent School District from July 2021 to July 2022 and held the positions of Assistant Director of Fine Arts and Coordinator of Fine Arts at Arlington ISD between July 2017 and July 2021. Michael's experience in orchestral leadership includes serving as the Director of Orchestras at Martin High School from August 2006 to June 2017 and at Midway ISD from August 2000 to May 2006. Michael holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor's degree in Music from The University of Texas at Arlington.
