Andy Maciver

Andy Maciver is a seasoned communication professional and director, currently serving as a columnist for The Herald Scotland and hosting for Holyrood Sources. They are the founder and director of Message Matters and Zero Matters, a consultancy focused on helping organizations navigate their transition to net zero. Through their involvement with Place2Be, they contribute to emotional support for children in schools across Scotland. Andy holds an MA (Hons.) in Politics, Economics, and Law from The University of Edinburgh and has previously worked in various roles, including as Head of Communications for the Scottish Conservatives and Government Relations Manager at Lloyds Banking Group.
