Jared Coulombe

Jared Coulombe has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jared most recently worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MessageGears since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at Jahnel Group, an Inc. 5000 company from February 2022 to January 2023. In 2020, Jared worked at Boston Children's Hospital as a Full Stack Engineer from March 2020 to February 2022.

Before that, they worked at Aquent as a Full Stack Engineer from November 2018 to March 2020, where they contributed to multiple Java Spring Boot applications and Java servlets. Jared also has experience at Virgin Pulse (formerly ShapeUp Inc.), where they worked as a Software Engineer from October 2014 to September 2018. Jared was involved in developing and maintaining Java services, as well as modern JavaScript front-end applications using AngularJS.

Jared's earlier experiences include working at BookRags, Inc. as a QA Lead (SDET) and SDET from June 2013 to September 2014 and from December 2011 to June 2013, respectively. Jared was responsible for prepping code releases, developing test frameworks, and acting as the primary point of contact between the QA team and product managers.

Additionally, Jared had their own web development business and worked as a Web Developer from April 2009 to January 2012. Jared also had brief stints at ZAAZ as a Web Developer in 2011 and Cascadia Labs as a Senior Analyst/Project Manager from September 2006 to November 2009.

Lastly, Jared volunteered at the Leadership Institute for Tomorrow as a Workshop Facilitator from 2004 to 2008.

Jared Coulombe began their education at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology. Following this, they attended Seattle Central College from 2009 to 2010, obtaining a Certificate in Programming. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Jared joined Seattle University, pursuing studies in Non-matriculated Computer Science.
