Dan McArdle

Dan McArdle has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dan is currently the Co-Founder of Messari since January 2018. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as the CTO for Volara and Exa.ai starting in February 2016. In 2014, they were the Director of Curriculum & Content for the Digital Currency Council, where they focused on education and training program content creation and strategy related to Bitcoin, blockchain, and digital currencies.

Before that, McArdle co-founded and served as the CTO for PokerNearMe from December 2009 to June 2014, where they were responsible for ecosystem design, core API implementation, business strategy, and building partner relationships. Dan also co-founded ListSanity in March 2012, where they built the entire codebase and rapidly deployed their platform in order to gather user feedback and iterate based on their roadmap.

McArdle has prior experience as a web developer at Clearly Mosaic from September 2006 to June 2013, where they worked on contract web development projects and provided product and business consulting. Dan also worked as an engineer at GlobalSports from April 2008 to March 2012 and as a support engineer at IP blue Software Solutions from October 2000 to February 2002.

Dan McArdle attended the Taft School from 1994 to 1998. Dan then pursued higher education at Brown University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business Economics. In 2015, McArdle obtained the DCC Certified Professional certification from the Digital Currency Council.
