Alan Hally is currently the Scientific Lead on the AI Transformation Team at Met Éireann. They have extensive experience as a Meteorologist and previously served as a Research Meteorologist and Forecasting Services Manager at Met Éireann, where they developed and maintained critical forecasting models and services. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Météo-France, contributing to significant European research projects related to hydro-meteorology and aviation. Alan holds a PhD in Atmospheric Physics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
