Gavin Iley is currently an International Expert in Crisis Management and Disaster Risk Reduction at the World Meteorological Organization, a position held since 2020. Previously, Iley served in various roles at the Met Office from 2003 to 2005, including Senior Project Manager and Head of International Crisis Management and Resilience, where they led responses to international crises and managed projects in regions impacted by disaster. Iley has also managed climate network initiatives in Scotland and developed capacity projects in several countries, including Ghana and Afghanistan.
