Jonathan Murch

Jonathan Murch has extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT operations, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security Operations and Security Architect Lead at the Met Office since January 2018. In this role, Jonathan focuses on developing the enterprise security architecture strategy and collaborating with the Chief Information Security Officer to advance the security operations centre's technical roadmap. Previously, Jonathan held various technical and leadership roles at Delt Shared Services Ltd and the Met Office, including Senior Server Engineer and Strategic Infrastructure Development, where Jonathan emphasized Microsoft Windows platforms and innovative IT solutions. Jonathan's early career included a position as IS Technician Specialist at VT Group plc, providing IT support for the Royal Navy.
