Mark Hunt

Mark Hunt is an experienced technology leader, currently serving as the Associate Director of Future Technology and Supercomputing Programme Director at the Met Office since November 2018, where accountability includes overseeing technology transformation and delivering advanced solutions for weather and climate services. Prior to this role, Mark held various positions at Met Office, including Supercomputing Programme Manager and Programme Director of Transformation. Additionally, Mark is a Director at Winston Consultancy Limited, providing IT management services to UK clients, and previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Oneserve. Mark’s extensive background includes leadership roles at Landmark Information Group, Caudwell Communications, Telewest PLC, Eurobell Holdings PLC, and experience as a Technical Support Engineer at Microsoft. Mark holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Business Studies and a BSc in Computing from the University of Plymouth.
