Stefan Lines is a science manager specializing in international sub-seasonal and seasonal forecasting, currently leading the International Sub-Seasonal & Seasonal Outreach team at the Met Office in the UK. With a strong background in climate science, Stefan has experience in both research and applied settings, promoting activities to enhance forecasting capabilities across Africa through international programs. Previously, Stefan held positions as a senior climate scientist and researcher, conducting advanced simulations in fields such as exoplanetary atmospheres and computational astrophysics, supported by a Master's degree in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Exeter.
