Stefan Ahlby

Stefan Ahlby has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Stefan began their career in 2005 as a Chef Assistant at Värdhus Västergök AB, where they worked until 2012. Stefan then transitioned to the role of Restaurant Chef at Strandhotellet Mellbystrand, where they worked until 2015. In 2014, they also served as a Council Member at Göta Studentkår (Student Union).

In 2015, Stefan joined the University of Gothenburg as a Student Ambassador and remained in this role until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Java Supervisor at Chalmers University of Technology from August to October 2016.

From 2016 to 2017, Stefan became a Board Member for Alumni Relations at SG Data. In 2017, they joined Meta Bytes as an IT Software Developer, and later took on the additional role of Scrum Master in 2020. As a Scrum Master, their responsibilities include improving delivery in the context of bi-weekly sprints, communicating with customers to prioritize and solve problems, and assisting teammates in developing and overcoming obstacles.

In 2019, Stefan briefly assumed the position of a Team Leader at Meta Bytes before focusing solely on their role as an IT Software Developer. Currently, they are still employed at Meta Bytes in these positions.

Stefan Ahlby obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Gothenburg, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they also took distance courses at Umeå University, although they did not receive a degree from that institution. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, Stefan took various courses at Uppsala University without earning a degree. Earlier in their education, from 2002 to 2005, Stefan attended Osbecksgymnasiet, where they pursued the "Hotell och restaurang programmet" (Hotel and Restaurant Program) with a focus on Restaurangverksamhet (Restaurant Operations).

In terms of additional certifications, Stefan has recently obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In October 2021, they completed the certifications "Measure What Matters (Blinkist Summary)", "The Cure for Impostor Syndrome", and "The Secret to Better Decisions: Stop Hoarding Chips". Stefan also obtained the certification "Foundations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0)" in July 2021.
