Aida Azadegan, PhD, is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in user experience research and system design. Aida served as a Visiting Associate Senior Research Fellow at the University of Reading from January 2015 to January 2022 and held the position of Lead User Experience Researcher at Roku Inc. from July 2022 to May 2023, focusing on user research for Roku TV and other products. Previous roles include Senior Lecturer in Business Systems at Sheffield Hallam University, Research Fellow in Enabling Technologies at the University of The West of Scotland, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, contributing to projects such as the GaLA Project. Aida also gained significant expertise as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Volkswagen Group Future Center Europe GmbH, leading research on self-driving vehicles. Currently, Aida is a User Experience Researcher at Meta, continuing to leverage a strong educational foundation with an MSc in Business Information Technology and a PhD in Informatics from The University of Manchester and Alliance Manchester Business School, respectively.
