Aisha Young

Aisha Young is an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in threat detection and cybersecurity. Currently employed at Meta since August 2022, Aisha focuses on detections engineering. Prior experience includes a role at Amazon from April 2021 to August 2022 as a Security Engineer in Threat Intelligence, where Aisha tracked malicious activities and developed automation processes. While at Leidos from October 2019 to April 2021, Aisha served as a Senior Network Threat Support Specialist, monitoring threat actors and mentoring junior analysts. Aisha's extensive military background includes 12 years in the US Navy, where roles spanned from Pentester to Cybersecurity Engineer, encompassing network security assessments and incident response. Aisha holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, earned between 2015 and 2018.
