Aisling Burns

Public Policy Manager - Privacy, Data Regulation, AI (via Tundra Technical)

Aisling Burns is a highly qualified professional in law and public policy with extensive experience in disarmament and non-proliferation. Aisling served as Brand Ambassador at ModernGreen and worked as an Assistant Sailing Instructor at the Irish National Sailing and Powerboat School. As a researcher for The Clann Project, Aisling contributed to initiatives aiding testimonies related to the Commission into Mother and Baby Homes. Aisling held multiple hostess roles at 3Arena and served as a Senior UN Security Council Advisor for Malta’s term on the UN Security Council. Previous experience includes positions at BASIC as a Project Manager & Policy Fellow, and various roles at the United Nations and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, with a focus on disarmament issues. Currently, Aisling works as a Public Policy Manager at Meta. Aisling holds a Barrister-at-Law degree from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, and an LLM from The University of Edinburgh, along with a First Class Honours LL.B. from Dublin Institute of Technology.
