Ajit Punj

Ajit Punj is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software and hardware development, particularly in the fields of machine learning and computer architecture. Ajit began a professional career as a Web Developer Intern at Sonim Technologies, followed by various roles at Inkiru, Inc and Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer Intern. Ajit enhanced skills further as a Design Engineer at Micron Technology and as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Davis. Most recently, Ajit worked as a Principal Engineer at SambaNova Systems, focusing on machine learning performance improvements and kernel development, and currently serves as an ASIC Architecture Engineer at Meta. Ajit holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
