Alan Wang has extensive experience in both structural engineering and software development. Alan began a career in engineering as a Structural Engineering Intern at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP in 2010 and later worked as a Structural Design Engineer at Leslie E. Robertson Associates. Transitioning into software engineering, Alan held several positions including Software Engineer roles at Facebook, Spring Inc., and Instagram, and progressed to a Senior Software Engineer at Compass. Currently, Alan serves as a Software Engineer at Meta. Alan's educational background includes a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MS in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with coursework in Computer Science at multiple institutions.
