Alessio Dore

Alessio Dore is an experienced professional in the fields of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with a career spanning over 15 years. Beginning as a Research Assistant at Università degli Studi di Genova, Alessio contributed to various research projects in ambient intelligence and automotive applications. As a Computer Vision Engineer at WIREWAX, significant advancements were made in multi-target tracking and face recognition technologies. Alessio then took on leadership roles, becoming Head of Computer Vision & Machine Learning, where achievements included winning the 2015 LDV Entrepreneurial Computer Vision Challenge Award and securing a £250K UK Government grant. Following a tenure at Deliveroo as Senior Data Scientist and Team Lead focusing on logistics algorithms, Alessio is currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Meta, specializing in machine learning for advertisements.
