Alex Cornell is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in product design and creative leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Product Design (Generative AI) at Meta since January 2024, Alex has previously held positions at Linear and Substack as a Designer, and co-founded and designed for Cocoon - A Space for Family. A former lead product designer for Facebook Live and Social Video, Alex also has a strong entrepreneurial background, founding Moonbase, LLC, and co-founding UberConference and Firespotter Labs. Academic credentials include a BFA in Psychology from Duke University and an MFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University.
