Alex Gacheche

Alex Gacheche currently serves as a volunteer member of the Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board at The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., providing leadership and strategic input to enhance the internal audit profession in the age of AI. At Meta, Alex holds the position of Head of Internal Audit for Information Security and Technology Infrastructure, overseeing governance and strategy within the technology audit portfolio while cultivating relationships across the organization. Previous experience includes roles as Risk Manager at Bank of America, Manager at EY, and Senior Manager at PwC, where Alex led various audits focusing on IT, process, privacy, SOX, and data analytics. Alex also held key positions at Freddie Mac, driving initiatives in model risk governance and data management compliance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master's degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University, and a degree in Data Science from Harvard University.
