Alfred Tan has extensive experience in engineering and management roles, beginning as a Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm from October 2007 to April 2010, where leadership included the Linux/Android BSP OS initiative and the first customer launch of the HTC G1. Tan progressed to various development roles within Qualcomm, notably as Director of Engineering, focusing on customer product commercialization and expertise in Linux Android OS Core Platform Software, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, and ARM CPU stability. From June 2018 to March 2020, Tan served as Director of Software Engineering at Nuvve Corp., leading the development of scalable microservices for cloud-based V2G electric grid services. Currently, Tan holds the position of Technical Program Manager at Meta since July 2020.
