Alma Riska possesses extensive experience in software engineering and research, beginning with a role as a Research Intern at Hewlett-Packard and later at IBM. After serving as a Research Assistant at The College of William and Mary, Alma transitioned to Seagate Technology as a Research Staff Member. Following that, a position as a Consultant Software Engineer in the Cloud Infrastructure Group at EMC was undertaken. Currently, Alma holds dual roles as a Performance and Capacity Engineer at Meta and as a Principal Software Engineer at NetApp, focusing on storage systems analytics, data modeling, and performance prediction. Alma completed a BS/MS in Computer Science at the University of Tirana and earned a PhD in Computer Science from William and Mary.
