Amanda Johnson, PhD, is an experienced psychology professional with a diverse background in clinical practice, research, and education. Amanda served as an Adjunct Instructor of Multicultural Psychology at Central College and held various clinical roles, including Clinical Graduate Assistant and Psychology Pre-Doctoral Intern at the University at Buffalo and VA Hospital Des Moines/Knoxville, respectively. As a Psychologist at Poweshiek County Mental Health Center, Amanda provided therapy and conducted psychological testing. Recently, Amanda has worked as a User Experience Researcher at Meta, focusing on mixed methods research in monetization and browser topics while also managing grants and clinical operations as Clinical Director at Capstone Behavioral Healthcare. Amanda holds a PhD in Human Factors Engineering from the University at Buffalo, where dissertation research concentrated on mobile technology for mental health concerns.
