Amery Hung is a Linux Kernel Engineer at ByteDance, with prior experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, where key projects included the development of a selective symbolic execution engine for Android HAL and a framework for mitigating vulnerabilities in kernel modules through eBPF syscall tracing. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, focusing on CPU modeling and whole-system simulation environments, as well as a position at Meta starting in January 2025. Amery holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering from UC Irvine, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
