Amit Desai

Amit Desai is a seasoned product strategy leader with extensive experience across multiple technology organizations. Currently serving in a strategic role at Meta under the Chief Strategy Officer, Amit collaborates with executive leadership to address key initiatives in Generative AI. Previously, at Anthropic, Amit drove product strategy and operations, facilitating cross-functional alignment during the transition from a research-focused entity to a product-driven organization. At Pinterest, Amit built and headed the Corporate Strategy function, partnering with senior leadership to tackle complex strategic challenges. Amit's background also includes significant roles at Bain & Company, where strategic initiatives focused on the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors, and co-founding Energyfolks, a non-profit dedicated to fostering energy communities. Amit holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering and a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering, both from Stanford University.
