Amy Qiu has a solid background in environmental research and software engineering, with experience spanning various prestigious companies. Beginning as a Lab Associate at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research, Amy prepared and ran samples using specialized techniques. Subsequent internships included software engineering roles at Microsoft, Facebook, Google, and DeepMind, where contributions were made across multiple teams, including .NET corefx, Visual Studio Code, Adfinder, and Research Data.
