Andrew Dodd

Andrew Dodd is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Meta since July 2022, where significant contributions include the development and adoption of two tower neural network architectures for scaling ranking systems and creating a model-based retrieval system for people recommendations. Prior experience includes roles at Koios Medical, where Andrew focused on computer vision algorithms for cancer detection, and at Novetta, developing machine learning models for biometric applications. Additional experience encompasses machine learning performance optimization at Vianai Systems, mechanical engineering roles at Analog Devices and the Air Force Research Laboratory, and mentorship in data science at NYC Data Science Academy. Andrew Dodd holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Cornell University, respectively, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
