Andrew Guhr is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in telecommunications law and regulatory matters. At Facebook from July 2017 to March 2021, Andrew served as Associate General Counsel, focusing on global telecom regulations related to submarine cables, terrestrial and wireless networks, and emerging technologies. Following a role as a Lead Computer Technician at CompUSA and Computer Technician at IBM, Andrew worked briefly as a Summer Associate at Steptoe & Johnson LLP in 2008, before becoming an Associate and providing legal guidance to communication and media companies regarding FCC, FTC, and Copyright Office regulations. Currently, Andrew is the Director and Associate General Counsel for Infrastructure & Telecom at Meta since March 2021. Andrew holds a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law, where graduated magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from Wichita State University, also graduating magna cum laude.
