Andrew J Pardoe

Andrew J Pardoe has extensive experience in program and project management within the technology sector, having held significant roles at Microsoft and Facebook, now Meta. At Microsoft, Andrew served as a Senior Program Manager and later as a Senior Program Manager Lead, overseeing the CLR's Core OS functionalities and aiding in the development of the CLR for various platforms. As Principal Program Manager for MSVC Compiler and Tools, Andrew was instrumental in the advancement of the Microsoft C++ compiler toolchain and the creation of the C++ Core Guidelines. Transitioning to Facebook as a Technical Program Manager, Andrew focused on system runtimes and tools for mobile compilers, ensuring high performance and reliability in mobile applications. Currently, as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta, Andrew's team enforces data policies to support product teams. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English from Kent State University and two Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from the University of Washington, where a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics was also obtained.
