Angie Hu

Angie Hu is a distinguished professional in the field of data science and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Meta since January 2025, focusing on Llama pre-training and multi-modal evaluation. Prior to this role, Angie worked as a Software Engineer at Apple from November 2019 to January 2025 and gained experience as a Data Science Intern at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in mid-2017. Angie's academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, where a stellar GPA of 3.9/4.0 was achieved, along with a Master's degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the same institution.
