Anil Krishna, PhD, has extensive experience in CPU and GPU architecture, performance modeling, and engineering management. From October 2012 to September 2017, Anil served as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, leading microarchitecture research and development. Anil worked at Apple from September 2017 to June 2021 as an Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager for GPU Memory Subsystem. Since January 2025, Anil has been with Meta in an architecture and modeling role. Previous experience includes a tenure at IBM, where Anil held positions as Staff Engineer and Advisory Engineer, contributing significantly to performance modeling and the development of tools for embedded systems. Anil also taught a graduate course in Computer Architecture at North Carolina State University in 2016. Anil obtained a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, an MS from Purdue University, and a PhD from North Carolina State University.
