Ankit Peshin

Ankit Peshin is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, where responsibilities include post-training Llama models for MetaAI Assistant since September 2022. Prior experiences include roles as a Senior AI Researcher and Data Scientist at Avast from February 2020 to August 2022, and as a Data Scientist at Viome from June to December 2019, where significant contributions were made towards developing Multitask Deep Learning models for RNA-seq data and utilizing NLP for patient clinical notes. Ankit also worked at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, creating image classification models for plankton species, and as a Research Assistant at the Earth Institute, Columbia University, focusing on topic modeling and word vector creation. Ankit holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology.
