Anna Leddy, PhD MHS, has extensive experience in qualitative research and public health, focusing on HIV prevention, gender inequality, and health outcomes. At UCSF, Leddy served as a Qualitative Research Consultant, developing a toolkit for HIV-affected couples in Kenya and publishing analyses on gender inequality in sub-Saharan Africa. As a Consultant at the Population Council, Leddy conducted a systematic review on the impact of gender-based violence on HIV treatment uptake, engaging with key stakeholders such as USAID and NIH. Leddy also held research roles at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, assisting in evaluations of various health programs across multiple countries. At Meta, Leddy currently leads user experience research for privacy on Messenger and Instagram. Educational credentials include a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and both an MHS and PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
