Anqi Xu

Anqi Xu has extensive experience in research and engineering, primarily focused on robotics, deep learning, and perceptual sciences. Beginning as a Consulting Contractor at C2RO in early 2017, Anqi Xu conducted a literature survey on robot localization and mapping algorithms. Subsequent roles included Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University, Senior Robotics Engineer at Independent Robotics, and various positions at Element AI, where Anqi Xu contributed to applied and fundamental research in deep learning and reinforcement learning for robotics and vision. Anqi Xu worked as a Research Engineer and Software Engineer at Meta and Facebook, respectively, validating augmented reality technologies. Anqi Xu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, both from McGill University, graduating with a perfect GPA of 4.0.
