Anthony Moraes

Anthony Moraes is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in various roles within the culinary industry. Anthony began as a Chef/Instructor at the Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts from 2005 to 2007, and later served as an Executive Chef at the Natural Training Center starting in 2009. From February 2012 to August 2014, Anthony held the position of Executive Chef at SPE Certified before joining Facebook in June 2014 as the Executive Chef and Curator of Culinary Culture, where Anthony implemented Facebook's unique brand across culinary teams. Additionally, Anthony contributed as the inaugural Chef of Ceci et Cela, Facebook's first global plant-based concept. Prior roles include Executive Sous Chef at Meta and Chef Instructor at The French Culinary Institute. Anthony also has a diverse background with experience as a Police Detective for the Newark Police Department. Anthony holds a Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University and a degree in Marketing with a minor in Contemporary American Literature from Rutgers University.
