Anton Z

Anton Z serves as a Staff Virtualization Architect and Team Leader at Meta since July 2019, focusing on scalable virtualization solutions. Anton Z has been actively involved with the VMware User Group (VMUG) as the NYC VMUG Leader since November 2011, inspiring community engagement and knowledge sharing. Prior experience includes a Senior Virtualization Engineer role at Point72, where significant contributions included designing distributed HCI solutions and automating VM deployments, along with a Senior Infrastructure Engineer position at MacKay Shields, overseeing an upgrade of VMware View. Earlier career roles encompassed system administration and leadership at EffectiveSoft and consulting work in disaster recovery at Business Continuity International. Anton Z holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.
