Anuj Kumar

Anuj Kumar is an experienced professional with a strong background in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. With a PhD and an M.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, Anuj Kumar began a career as a Research Scientist at IBM and later at Microsoft, focusing on speech recognition and recommender systems. At Apple, Anuj Kumar contributed to Siri's natural language understanding, implementing deep learning models and enhancing user engagement. After progressing to leadership roles at Meta, including Director of Engineering for AI and Senior Director, Anuj Kumar significantly advanced generative AI technologies and launched the Ray-Ban Meta project. Throughout the career, Anuj Kumar has demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional teams and developing innovative AI solutions across various platforms.
