Anuj Pahuja is an experienced research engineer currently at Meta since February 2020, focusing on the development of novel VR experiences for virtual telepresence. Prior to this role, Anuj served as a graduate teaching assistant for the Computer Vision course at Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to courses taught by Professors Simon Lucey and Srinivasa Narasimhan, and also conducted research in computer vision involving image and GIF compression, deep CNN analysis, and face mesh reconstruction. Anuj gained internship experience at NVIDIA in the AI Algorithms Research Group, concentrating on deep learning applications for point clouds, simulation, and graph representation learning.
