Aravind S.

Aravind S. is a Tech Lead and Senior Research Scientist specializing in AI/ML HW-SW Co-Design at Meta, where they focus on enhancing performance for the internal machine learning accelerator. Prior to joining Meta in 2022, Aravind served as an Assistant Professor at Washington State University from 2019 to 2022, leading research on compilers for AI/ML and High-Performance Computing. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Strasbourg, where they collaborated with INRIA, and a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science, where they researched compiler optimization techniques. With over 50 publications and numerous awards, Aravind remains active in the AI and HPC communities.
