Archi Mitra

Archi Mitra is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as an Engineering Manager for GenAI at Meta since September 2023. Archi also holds an advisory role at Galileo since February 2021 and previously worked as a Senior Director and Director of Machine Learning at BuzzFeed from April 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included establishing a machine learning function and partnering with C-suite leadership to drive strategic initiatives. Prior to BuzzFeed, Archi led the development of Wayfair's first semantic search engine and managed significant machine learning projects in computer vision, contributing over $500 million in revenue, while also mentoring in the tech community and working as a research assistant at Northeastern University. Archi's educational background includes a Master's in Engineering Management and a Data Science certificate from Northeastern University, as well as a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
