Ari Hwang

Ari Hwang is an accomplished 3D artist and art director with extensive experience in various roles across the visual effects and animation industry. Ari's career began at PandaPanther from February 2007 to August 2009 as a 3D artist, followed by positions as a Lighting Lead and CG Generalist/Lighting TD at multiple companies, including MassMarket and Pandapanther. Freelance work as a Lighter occurred between December 2012 and June 2013. Ari served as Design Lead, Appearance at Facebook from July 2017 to May 2021 and is currently an Art Director at Meta since May 2021. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts, completed in 2009.
